Bournemouth | It feels like home to me.

Me and my Sister went to Bournemouth recently and stayed in a Spa Hotel called "Durley Dean" - It was so nice to get away, even if it was just for one night. Bournemouth holds a very special place in my heart, full of the best memories of when I was a little girl. I would stay here for a month every summer when I was younger, dip my toes in the salty water and eat Harry Ramsdens. (FYI - Best Fish and Chips ever.)

For lunch, we ate in one of my favourite restaurants, over looking the sea with the sun shining through the windows. This place is called 'Aruba' and it's honestly INCREDIBLE. Grace and I shared Nachos for starters and then she had the Fish and Chips for her main and I had a Margarita pizza with a side salad and onion rings. I'm sorry but look how huge they are haha, I would NOT of ordered them if I knew they were going to be so big lol.

Grace also ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri and I had a Pina Colada!

Safe to say we felt very full after all of this food and to be honest, we left half of it lol oops. Eyes are far too big for our bellies.

After lunch, we took a stroll into the town and went shopping. I LOVE walking through the gardens and seeing the big hot air balloon, I still to this day have never been on that thing. Then we walked back to the beach, along the sea front and Grace stopped for a hot chocolate. We were so lucky to of gone down on a day where it was really sunny and when stood directly in the sun, it became quite warm ^_^

In the evening, we had a swim in the heated pool, sat in the steam room and sweated our butts off in the sauna! First time being in any of those and they were so relaxing (and hot.) We decided to get some snacks from Asda for dinner as we were way too full to order any room service. We had strawberries, pineapple, crisps and dip, chocolates, bread and ham (which I did not eat) and chilled with face masks.

I honestly had THE best time. There's just somethin' about the sea air that puts me in a good mood. I am definitely going back in the summer for much longer.

It feels like home to me.
