My Favourite Highlighters | ABH Glow Kits

Can you believe i'm doing a makeup post? Me neither. Makeup used to be my pride and joy but now I'm just like 'blah' - I haven't been inspired with any looks at all and I feel like i've let myself go haha.
Not to mention that everything seems to be so god damn expensive.

My favourite part of a full face makeup look is 1000%, the highlight. Good lord, I LOVE a good highlight. The best ones I have found are the Anastasia Glow Kits and heres why..

They are extremely pigmented and hold a lot of colour. The swatches on my fingers really doesn't do them justice but I hope you can see anyway just how much they really do pop. Each palette has 4 different shades and although they are pricey, I think it's worth it when there's four to choose from.

The two palettes I have are Gleam and That Glow..
You can purchase these (here)

Each little disc is removable so you can swap them around and have your four favourites (from both palettes) in one box.
If you love a more bronzy, warmth and golden look, 'That Glow' is perfect for you. If you love a more metallic, silver base highlighter then the Gleam kit is the one you need. I just enjoy looking like a glazed, holographic dolphin so I mix them up.

The packaging of these are a little basic, I mean they're just cardboard boxes but I think they're simple so its fine. I'm more interested in what the products look like, rather than the packaging. Also, with these highlighters, you can add water to them. Not a lot obviously but a few sprits into the palette and apply them with a fan brush, the texture will be even more illuminated - try it.

The colours work well with any skin tone but one thing to keep in mind, is that Dripping In Gold, Bubbly and Mimosa are very similar in shade, which is a bit of a shame as they could of used other colours but oh well, they're still fabulous.

If you know of any really good highlighters, please let me know. I'm in need of new makeup, new brands to discover etc.
