12 Days Of Christmas | Day 1 | Night Routine

My Winter Night Routine

Kicking off the 12 days of Christmas.. or should I say BLOGMAS, I thought I would talk you through my winter night routine. Christmas is my FAVOURITE time of the year and because it gets dark so early, I find that I stay in and pamper myself a lot more than usual and I'm perfectly okay with that.

So as soon as I get home from work, I take off my makeup. I literally can't start anything else until it's off of my face. I then get undressed (free the nipple, woo) and run a bubble bath. I always like to use some sort of bubble bath or lush product because I find it relaxing and well.. what even is a bath without some sort of scent and a shit load of bubbles?
I tend to sit in here for a good 30-45minutes, relaxing and listening to Christmas music.

Once I'm out of the bath, that's when I move onto my skin care. I like to cleanse, wash and then moisturise my face and body. (Don't forget deodorant as well). - Then it's time to get into my comfy pyjamas, YAAAAASS.

After a while, dinners usually ready and I'll either sit and eat that downstairs with my family, or I'll bring it up to my room. This particular day, I ate downstairs whilst watching some TV shows.

After dinner, this is the time where I like to chill out on my bed. I will light some candles, listen to music and paint my nails/write blogposts/check social media etc.

I then usually watch more TV because I'm a granny that watches the soaps OR I will put on Netflix, just depends on what kind of mood I am in.

Okay so, it's usually around 8:30pm at this point and this is the time where I like to make myself a cup of tea or a hot chocolate (with allll the trimmings) and climb back into my bed. This will also be when I open my advent calendar because i've been rushing or running too late in the morning.

Again, I'm usually on my phone, checking through social media and replying to emails for a good hour and a half. By this point, I am normally exhausted and that's when I'll brush my teeth, blow out my candles and go to sleep.
