Day 11 | A Festive Makeup Look

I was really into makeup when I was younger. I had my own Youtube Channel and everything but after a few years, I lost my love for it and kinda gave up. Nothing ever inspired me and I chose to spend my money on clothes, rather than cosmetics. However, I am trying my best to get back into the swing of things because SO many girls on Instagram and Youtube are killing the makeup game at the moment. Their skin is always flawless, highlight always poppin' and I'm always like "Yaaaass bitch, I need that & I need that."

That being said, I've attempted a makeup look for you guys, obviously its a lot different to an actual video tutorial as I can't show you step by step. However, I've listed all the products that I did use below & the finished look..

Starting with the base, I used a mix of Bourjois 'Healthy Mix' in the shade Dark Bronze and my Mac Studio Fix foundation. The reason why I mix the two is because they are both not my shade, one is too dark and the other is too light. For my eyebrows, I used the Benefit Brow Kit which I can't seem to find online but this is very similar. I then used my Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer to cover my dark circles, blemishes AND to highlight. To create cheekbones, I used my Smashbox Contour Palette for definition and then set my face with the Maybelline Matte Maker.
I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit to highlight the highest points to my face and my MAC Blush for colour.

Moving onto my eyes, I used the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette and the shades: Skimp & Zone for my crease, Punk on my outer corners (blended) and then the shade Pop on my lids. I also went back in with the shade Half Baked from the original Urban Decay palette and applied that to my lid too. I used the Rimmel London Liquid Eyeliner and Volume Flash Mascara. After I had finished on the eyes, I then went in with a gold liquid eyeliner and outlined the black liner that I had already applied, just for a bit of glitter and pop.

Lastly, my lips. Seeing as it was a Festive look, I went for the classic red lip
and I used Mac - Ruby Woo.
