Vegan Chocolate Pancakes


I woke up today and decided I wanted something different for breakfast. I'm trying to limit my intake of bread as well, so I didn't want some kind of breakfast sandwich. The first thing that came to mind was Pancakes but the only recipe that works for me is this one here and although it makes the most fluffiest, tastiest, american style-like pancakes, it does take a lot of time. So I thought I would try Vegan ones just because I know they only use 3/4 simple ingredients. 


What You Will Need:

1/2 cup of Oats 
1/2 cup of Almond/Soy Milk (cows milk, if you prefer)
1tsp of Raw Cocoa Powder
1tsp of Cinnamon
1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
1 Fully Ripe Banana (spots on the peel)
A blender
A pan
Fry Light or Coconut Oil

How To:

1. Blend together the Oats and Baking Powder to create a flour like texture. 
2. Add the Milk and Banana and blend until a thick batter mixture. If your batter seems to be a little runny, add a bit more of the oats. 
3. Add the Cocoa Powder and Cinnamon, blend once more. 
4. Pour the mixture into your pan once the pan is warm. Do not pour onto a cool pan.
5. When small bubbles start to form on the top of your pancake, thats when its safe to flip them over.

Voila! 

Top your pancakes with anything you like, I added more Banana and Maple Syrup to mine! 
They were honestly delicious and so quick to make.
