If you've got curly hair, you will know that the curls don't stay bouncy for too long. You'll develop frizz, the curls will drop out and if they're anything like mine, they become ridiculously dry. I wash my hair about once a week, sometimes not even that because 1. My hair doesn't need to be washed that often and 2. It styles better when its less clean.

First of all, split your hair into two parts, one at the top and one at the bottom. Tie the top part up so it doesn't get in the way and start by spraying the bottom half with water. When the hair is damp, start by finger combing through your curls to avoid frizz. If your hair is too tough at this point, you can use a wide tooth comb to brush out the knots. Apply 1 to 2 pumps of the Moroccan Oil and start finger coiling (which is wrapping the hair around your finger) to the curls that need some extra love. Repeat this process to the top half of your hair.

Once completed, take a scoop of the Taliah Maajid Curly Curl Cream and begin scrunching that through your hair. Focus on the area's that need it the most, for example, my curls become more limp and frizzy around my hairline and the front of my head but I know other girls experience it on the back of their head and mid section. This curl cream creates definition, conditions the hair and leaves it feeling moisturised with no build-up or frizz.

Now, its always best to leave your hair to dry naturally but I know not everyone has that time of day where they can do that. So, get your hair dryer and your diffuser and start blow drying. Always make sure your hairdryer is on the lowest speed and the lowest heat to avoid damage.

Hopefully at this point, your curls should be revived and your hair will look sha-poppin'.

Let me know if this works for you.

"If you don't like the way I talk then you don't have to listen. I will never be something I'm not, just because of your opinion."

It has taken me around 11 years to feel comfortable in my own skin. My bare, freckly, part dry, part oily skin. There have been times where I've cried over the way I've looked and there have been times where I've liked the way I have looked. Now, I feel proud of the way I look. My skin, my hair and my body will never be perfect but it's the one I was given and I've spent many years wishing I looked like someone other than me, now I couldn't imagine being anyone else. I am 22 years of age, my hormones are still all over the place, my body is still changing and so is my skin. I'm a girl who likes pink but I would choose trainers over heels any day. I prefer my hair tied up in a bun with a boyfriend t-shirt, than a dress with heels that I can't walk in. I have stretch marks on my hips and discolouration inbetween my thighs, my boobs aren't perky and my hair doesn't flow down to my butt but I am me, Charleigh and that is all I want to be.

For those of you wandering, this is my current skincare routine:

I take my makeup off with Clinique - take the day off cleansing balm.
I cleanse with the soap and glory cleansing milk.
I wash my face with cold water
Then I apply the Nivea refreshing toner
Finishing off with the Nivea Creme as a moisturiser.
