You know how some people suffer with 'SAD' in the Autumn and Winter months? That's me in the Summer. I really don't enjoy it, I've spoken about this a lot throughout the years, especially on my twitter where I like to vent and go off on one.. but I really just don't like it in the UK. When it hits September and I can feel the season changing, a huge burst of excitement starts to fizzle inside of me and I CAN'T CONTAIN IT.

I have always loved feeling the cold, I feel like I've naturally just got warm blood because I feel the heat super easy & it makes me uncomfortable. So I guess the first thing I will talk about is the..

Cold Weather
There is just something about cold crisp mornings and early dark evenings that make me feel warm and toasty inside. A bit like Kehlani's - Alive lyrics "Crazy, how I feel the most warm when it's cold" - that is literally me lol.

The Fashion
I think everyone would agree that the clothes in Autumn/Winter are what dreams are made of. I love the autumnal colours, the chunky knit scarves, the berry lip, the black boots. I love it alllll.

Halloween and Firework Night
Two of my favourite holidays.. alongside Christmas of course. I love celebrating both Halloween and Bonfire night, simply because of the fact I love dressing up and I also love the vibe that comes with both of them. Last year, I remember walking around a field with my camera in one hand and a glass of prosecco in the other, waiting for the fireworks to start. Smoke in the air and the smell of fried onions for the hot dogs is something I will never get tired of.

Pumpking Picking
This is an event and activity in itself haha. But it's fun, it's really fun. Depending on what you have nearest to you, you will find a pumpkin field or a garden centre almost anywhere that sells Pumpkins, all different shapes and sizes. And although it gets kind of messy, carving them is fun too.

Hot Chocolate
I actually drink hot chocolate all year round but I feel less guilty for drinking it this time of year. There's something so cosy about snuggling up to watch Hocus Pocus with a hot chicolate in hand. Last year I actually wrote a whole post on different recipes and different flavours, which you can read here.

Autumnal Walks
You won't ever see me walking in the summer unless it's walking to a park for a picnic lol. I just can't bare to do any movement when it's hot if I'm honest but I bloody love going for long walks in the Autumn! Even if it's raining, I'll just chuck on a pair of wellies, a big coat and head on out. I like walking on crunchy red leaves and kicking conkers lol.

Weekends In
I feel like it's easier to save money during the colder months because I much prefer to stay in on the weekends, rather than to go out and spend money on things I don't really need.. for example, money for club entry, drinks etc. Saying that though, I'm quite eager to get takeaways on the weekends, especially when it's cold outside so.. I'm not really saving money at all, am I? Lol.

What do you like most about Autumn? Or do you not like this season at all? I'd love to know.

Lots of Love,

How To Have The Best Sunday

For some reason, people tend to dislike Sundays, especially when it gets to around 5pm and the evening is fast approaching and you start to think of the dreaded Monday morning. I, on the other hand.. fucking love Sundays. For me, it's a day of relaxation, lots of food and a time to plan for the week ahead. I'm going to give you a few tips to make your Sundays a little brighter.

1. Music

Listen to your favourite music. I am a complete music junkie, it puts me in the best mood so I tend to look up my favourite playlists on Spotify or create my own. I believe every woman should wake up and dance to Chaka Khan - I'm Every Woman, in their pants, every Sunday.

2. Breakfast

Have your favourite breakfast foods. Whether that be pancakes, a full cooked breakfast, cereal.. whatever you like. Heck, you could even have Nutella and strawberries if you choose. The foods that make your heart (and stomach) happy, have them.

3. Stretch

It's just important. Light stretches in the morning help the blood to flow around your body and it's a good way to wake you up.

4. Shower/Bath

Whatever you prefer, get yourself in some hot water, with plenty of bubbles and relaxing aromas. Listen to a podcast, some music or read a book.

5. Fresh Sheets

Strip your bedding down, throw that into the washing machine and put fresh bedding on. If you're like me though, I never have spare clean bedding and have to literally wait for my old one to wash and dry before putting it back on.. haha. But when it comes to bedtime that evening, getting into fresh sheets is going to feel amazing.

6. Face Mask

I always have a face mask on a Sunday. Well, I pretty much put on a face mask 3 times a week but you know.. Sundays and face masks just fit better. I enjoy the 'peel off' masks because there's just something so satisfying about peeling it off and seeing your dead skin underneath.. am I right? Yes, I am.

7. Movies

Sundays to me = binge watch your favourite movies and eat whatever you like. Honestly, chilling in your fresh clean bed, wearing fresh jammies & snuggling down to watch a film is an endless love affair. Did you know 13 going on 30 is now on Netflix? Ultimate chick flick and yes.. I've watched it 8 times now.

8. Dinner

End your day with a Sunday Roast (if you're British) or a family meal that both you and your loved ones enjoy. You can either have a homecooked meal or go to your local pub for some grub. I don't know.. maybe chuck a couple of glasses of wine in there if you fancy.
